Ali AlQuraan Villa
Ali AlQuraan Villa is a contemporary residence in Aydoun, Irbid, conceived around a circular courtyard. This open-air heart gives the home its orientation, drawing living spaces, movement, and views into a shared relationship with the landscape.
Set into gently sloping terrain, the architecture unfolds through layered stone volumes and shaded terraces. Horizontal planes establish a calm rhythm, while slender columns and recessed glazing give depth and lightness to the composition. The solidity of stone frames moments of openness, allowing gardens, water, and sky to become part of the interior experience.
Living areas extend toward the courtyard and pool, with sheltered outdoor spaces forming gradual transitions between enclosure and openness. Privacy emerges through the arrangement of volumes, setbacks, and carefully directed views. Below, parking and service spaces are integrated into the slope, supporting the everyday life of the home.
The villa’s identity lies in the relationship between a curved center and a linear architectural language—a measured composition of mass, void, and light, grounded in its terrain.

A Circular Heart
The concept begins with a void—a circular courtyard that gives order to the home. Around it, linear volumes frame views and guide movement, bringing the landscape into the center of domestic life.
Layered forms follow the gentle slope, opening into shaded terraces that mediate between privacy and exposure. Stone lends weight and enclosure; glass introduces depth and continuity. The architecture emerges from these relationships: circle and line, mass and void, shelter and openness.
